Greenroot Harbor is a gentle simulation game with no fail state and no pressure. You rebuild a run-down harbor bit by bit, plant gardens, and get to know the townsfolk who move in as the place grows. It is the kind of game you tend to for ten minutes before bed.
What makes it more than wallpaper is the little systems underneath. Shops feed each other, seasons change what grows, and residents have small requests that nudge you toward new goals. Nothing demands your attention, which is exactly the point.
If you want something calming that respects your time and never begs you to come back, Greenroot Harbor is a lovely place to spend it.
