How we actually pick and review games
People ask how a game ends up on our site. The honest answer is that someone on the team played it long enough to have a real opinion, good or bad.
We do not run reviews off trailers or store copy. If we cannot finish a game, we tell you how far we got and why we stopped. That matters more than a tidy score.
We also test on more than one phone, including an older budget device. A game that only runs well on flagships is not much use to most readers, and we will say so.
Scores are subjective, and we are fine with that. The words matter more than the number, so read those before you decide.
